Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Warm the marinara sauce in a small pot.
  7. Place meatballs in sub rolls, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Return the subs to the air fryer for an additional 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.

  • Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket.
