Ingredients

- 2 large onions, sliced into rings
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup buttermilk
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip onion rings in buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture.
- After coating, dip in breadcrumbs.
- Place onion rings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For extra crunch, spray with cooking oil before air frying.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
