Description
A healthy recipe for chickpea patties made in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mash the chickpeas with a fork.
- Add breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into small patties.
- Brush or spray the patties with olive oil.
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Remove and let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve with yogurt or tahini sauce.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
- These patties can be frozen before cooking.
